Christmas Poem

Christmas Eve
Copyright 1997 by Dawn Rosell
Warm smells of pine trees and hot cocoa hang in the air.

The sound of carolers and sleigh bells ring out a heavenly tune.

Lights twinkle in the wind on trees everywhere as the snow falls like jewels of white.

Children curled up snug in warm beds dream of tomorrow's festivities.

All is peace tonight, for it is Christmas Eve.
