Bobby's mother came to the door and politely told Bobby to invite the old man in to their small home for a bit of warmth. Santa was led to a tiny kitchen to have a cup of tea. Bobby kept a watchful eye on what he believed to be an old man of no consequence.

He sat at the table and asked the man where he was from and how did he come to choose their house and not another. "I am an old man with little processions and thought you could offer me a little cheer."

This was Bobby's que to tell the old man of his letter to Santa and so he did with vigor. "And", he said, "I am sure to get all that I asked for because I was very good this year."
